The backbone of Ching Fu is our design department. Our highly knowledgeable design team combined with our AutoCad and NUPAS-CadMatic system combine to make an extremely flexible, accurate and efficient design team. Thus they are able to work together very closely with the Shipowner to achieve the most optimal design. The Ching Fu design team is extremely experienced at defining and completing Purchase Order Specifications of onboard equipment as per the Building Specification to ensure the functionality of equipment and the performance of the entire vessel.

Our Senior Design Staff have a history of cooperating with renown shipbuilding design companies around the world as per owner's requirement. In addition, our skilled design team capably develops yard drawings according to basic and key drawings of shipbuilding so that factory departments are able to perform an engineering plan of the shipbuilding. Furthermore, our design personnel are very skilled in planning and assisting the onboard functional test and ship performance test to satisfy the shipbuilding specification and Owner's requests. By means of the AutoCad and NUPAS-Cadmatic system, Ching Fu's design team creates accurate and integrated engineering information and drawings for shipbuilding.

Our Design Goals are to create designs with the shipowner which ensure crew safety and environmental protection, efficiently use structural materials, have efficient hull form and propulsion plant, have fuel economy at service speed and when in port, are time and cost efficient in port, have maximum maneuverability and allow ease of maintenance and inspection.
